I've been telling everyone how much I love Writer's Block, so I thought it was time to write a here: Even though it's a cocktail bar, it has a chill non-pretentious vibe. It's small and relatively hushed , so it makes the perfect date spot, because you can actually have a conversation. Downstairs is a tiny bar, while upstairs is a lounge. As a designer, the design is always important to me. I usually judge a place on if they take the moment to make the restrooms unique, and here, they've wallpapered them in comic books! The recover of the decor is easy, and understated. Drinks: They hold an extensive cocktail menu. My usual favorite is the Mymosa, but I've been branching out and recently tried the Feral Boy. The flavors are appealing and the names are pleasurable too. Umm, they are mighty too, so be prepared to be feeling incredible after 2 :)Food: I've never had their food, but they have a couple of options. I would probably eat first before coming here, but I think I'm going to try their deviled eggs next : They seal at 1amService: Everyone that works there seems
At the centre of Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ scene is, of course, its Gayborhood, an enclave in Center City Philadelphia that’s home to gay bars, clubs and more.
Most of the fabulous venues on this list are found there, but the rest of the city is still alive with culture and nightlife, like the piano lounge for those looking to belt out a tune (or six) and a leather dungeon for chaps-clad daddies and those who love them. Whatever your vibe, read on for the best gay bars in Philly.
