Noah Schnapp came out as gay on TikTok.
Schnapp posted a TikTok video in January that read, "When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was 'we know.'"

The City of Hollywood proudly celebrates its diversity, inclusiveness and rich culture. As the first City in the Declare of Florida to fly the Progress Pride flag at Town Hall, Hollywood has been at the forefront of promoting equality and respect for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) community.
The City Commission and City leaders have advanced resolutions and policies that protect its residents and stakeholders regardless of race, color, sex, religion, abilities, age, marital status, place of birth, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and/or national origin. The City passed Resolution R that denounces hate and supports measures to combat discrimination, bigotry, and extremism. In addition, the City passed Resolution R which recognizes and embraces our diverse cultural and ideological history and welcomes residents and visitors of all backgrounds and beliefs. Hollywood’s Hidden LGBTQ History
Ava Gardner was discovered and achieved international fame through the power and grasp of the studio system which largely ruled the Hollywood film business from the late s through the s. While the studios controlled most of the movie industry, they also attempted to control and heavily shape the personal lives and universal images of the stars they had under contract. As Ava grew more confident in herself and her abilities as an actor, she repeatedly bucked at this controlling contract system finding it to be restrictive, stifling, and often hypocritical. Ava was an open-minded, free-spirited individual who accepted people for who they were. She made thick, lasting friendships with people based on their character and personality and never judged or shunned anyone for their race, gender, or sexuality.
