San Diego’s biggest celebration of diversity and inclusion is calling your name! San Diego Pride returns to Balboa Park with community resources, queer-owned businesses, and multiple entertainment zones.

Pride is more than a moment—it’s a movement. San Diego Pride continues after the parade and festival. Our registered c3, non-profit organization provides advocacy, community programs, and philanthropic efforts year-round. Your participation in our events fuels this ongoing work. Together, we build a brighter future.

San Diego Pride takes place over the week 9th - 17th July

The San Diego Pride Festival is host to a variety of local and national organizations. businesses, and entertainers eager to show their support for our community. If you’d like to be part of the noun learn more below!

Once public health and safety guidance becomes transparent, we will update this event page on how we’re moving forward with planning this year’s Pride celebrations.

She Fest:
Saturday, July 9, , Noon - 6pm
She Fest delivers empowering and accessible programming and content that centers LGBTQ+ women and non-binary people; creates opportunities to connect LGBTQ+ minute businesses to new audiences; facilitates social events that bring people together; and invests in and celebrate the volunteer leadership of She Fest committee members. Our year-round efforts culminate in an annual flagship event that brings over 4, of our community members together to kick off San Diego’s Pride week in July.

San Diego and Tijuana are arrange to celebrate Pride, hosting a range of LGBTQ+-centered events throughout June and July.

Pride Month honors the history, culture and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community through marches, parades and artistic showcases.

While Pride is traditionally observed in June to honor the anniversary of the Stonewall uprising — when community members fought back against police raids at the Stonewall Inn in New York City’s Greenwich Village — San Diego holds its largest Pride festival in July. According to San Diego Pride, this tradition began in the s, when organizers moved the main events to avoid scheduling conflicts with other major festivals around the world and to maximize attendance by avoiding June gloom.
