Gay scuba diver

Northern California Rainbow Divers (NCRD) is a non-profit SCUBA diving club for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender divers and their friends.

We have more than active members around the world, with a core of a few who gather for informal diving meetups in local waters and many more who join us for our far-away warm water trips in places like Indonesia, The Philippines, and The Caribbean.

NCRD sponsors a wide range of diving activities for our members:

o  Monterey Diving: In the past we organized club weekends or charters. Now days most of our local divers use our Facebook group to stay in touch and see up for diving. Many people also use this website to keep an eye on the weather and plan their local trips accordingly.

o  Channel Islands Diving: For years we chartered a weekend dive boat to the Channel Islands. Now days those dive boats don't perform overnight trips. Follow us on Facebook to see if other divers are planning informal trips to Southern California.

Are there any GLBT divers/groups/clubs out there?

Hi y&#;all-
Just wondering: are there any GLBT divers/groups/clubs out there? Not that being GLBT in diving matters (nor should it- and in my experience divers in general are pretty reveal, laid-back and accepting folks, which is a big reason why I love it so much), but I never seem to meet any other GLBT folks when I&#;m diving! I can&#;t be the only one! I generally travel solo, since none of my friends or family are divers, and I&#;ve verb to enjoy the freedom and flexibility traveling solo allows, and I love meeting new friends. Yet more often than not, dive boats seem to always be made up of (straight) couples or friends traveling and diving together, with the occassional solo like myself. And more often than not, during the boat ride to the dive site (I do most of my diving in Cozumel) the conversation naturally covers the usual topics: the diving (naturally!) and then the "getting to recognize you" stuff- where are you from, what do you carry out, etc. etc. And almost invariably, I also get the questions about why are you trave

Octopus’s Garden: Gay Scuba Diving in Saba

Day 1: Meeting Day

Our adventure begins when you spot the airstrip on which your pilot intends to land. The residents of this volcanic island found a plot of level land just large enough to hold the world’s smallest international airport. Fortunately, the pilot has made this landing many times before and rolls to a halt with half the runway still to spare. Five minutes after touching down, you’ve already cleared Saban immigration, collected your luggage, and are on a winding road toward our hotel. Small airports have their advantages!

Our home for seven nights is a friendly hotel overlooking the turquoise Caribbean waters, where you’ll soon be diving. At our brief orientation, you meet our group and get information about the activities for the week.

If you reach early enough, explore the miniature town of Windwardside this afternoon. After watching a glassblower craft colorful fish, you’ll have no trouble coming up with gift ideas to take back noun. Then we’ve planned a welcome reception, followed by a Saban barbeque dinner.
