Harry can vocalize and has obviously worked rigid on his voice through the years, although he flexes his vocal chops more on his first album (or the covers of this era, e.g. Young woman Crush) than his second one. But as many have stated, he does so much attention seeking with fashion and modelling and whatnot, that despite Okay Line being really successful and him winning a Grammy I'd say it's a mixed bag if he's more regarded as singer or more as celebrity. He obviously tries so difficult to be an "icon", but it feels pretty empty and in turn uninteresting, at least to me. Even Yungblud seems more authentic and that's saying something.

R59 and R65 When I heard his first album I thought there's some true potential there. Personally I thought more of Neil Young, but I can see Bob Dylan or Bruce Springsteen too. But by now I doubt he has it in him tbh. If he were an artist of that caliber he would hardly need all the attention seeking, baiting (queer or not) and cutesy aesthetic with kindness slogans. It's still funny to me that

'My Policeman' doesn't shy away from gay sex. We shouldn't, either.

You've got gay romantic comedy "Bros" still in its theatrical run. You've got queer Spanish students on Netflix's "Elite." And now you've got Harry Styles starring in "My Policeman" (now in theaters; streaming on Amazon Prime Friday).

What act all these projects have in common? Unabashed, unapologetic gay sex. And that is beyond refreshing in an era of increased anti-LGBTQ hate.

Like any year-old gay guy consuming entertainment in , I expect mostly sprinkles of queerness across mainstream media. Yes, LGBTQ representation has improved on TV. And there's no shortage of queer TV and movies out there on streaming services (see "Fire Island," "The Other Two," and "The L Word: Generation Q," among others).

My Policeman actor David Dawson has opened up about how he filmed his sex scenes with Harry Styles in the new movie.

On Sunday (Sep 11), My Policeman premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival to mixed reviews from critics. Set in the s, the upcoming film tells the story of a closeted gay policeman, Tom (Harry Styles), who marries a schoolteacher, Marion (Emma Corrin). During their marriage, Tom falls in love with a male museum curator, Patrick (David Dawson).
